I was not positive when our second blog was supposed to be published so I though I would do one on Information Technology in general.
Information Technology seems to becoming more of a hazard than a helpful subject. It appears to me that the more a person posts about themselves, or their opinions, the more information individuals can obtain about you, that can be used against you later. Especially in the hard career times we are in now, a employer need only to find something he/she does not approve of in your blog and choose not to hire you.
How far will communication be able to go until it will no longer be beneficial to communicate at all?
It seems like the more Information Technology develops, the more the individual will have to guard access to that information. Was not the point of the World Wide Web the accessibility of information?
Why does it seem like the more freedom we obtain with information, the more it is used against us, thereby restricting freedom itself?
